Key to a successful drilling project is the quality of the drilling fluid, or mud that’s utilised by a drilling contractor. A correctly designed drilling mud supports the surrounding ground conditions, and in poorly consolidated ground it creates a ‘cake’ that supports the walls of a borehole.

At Aditya International, we’ve been involved with designing, drilling, and delivering many of the deepest, large-diameter wells in the UK. In addition, we have advanced holes through the most challenging ground conditions, often being called in when other companies have failed to drill successfully.
If you have a drilling project but you’re not sure how to design a well to maximise yields or mitigate risks, we can help.
Unlike other well designers, we don’t just look at your project from a hydrogeological basis, but also from the driller’s perspective. This means we consider what’s practically possible and what measures need to be put into place to limit the risk of failure.
We also look at geological and hydrogeological factors to establish casing string depths and diameters, sanitary seals, and final installation design to ensure casing sizes are realistic and sufficient grout and pack annuluses are in place.
From this core design work, we then advise on the drilling methodology and rig requirements to ensure your project is successful.
Why take any risk when you don’t have to? Contact us today to ensure your well is designed correctly from the start
